Actually the ST is more powerful, but not as fast 0-60.
ST - 223bhp - 0-60 (6.8) top speed - 150mph
RS (mk1) - 212bhp - 0-60 (6.5) top speed - 147mph
Technically the RS should be faster up to say 70-80mph then the higher torque of the ST should win it some ground back heading past 100mph.

The ST would more than likely win any way, but something didn't seem right about the old RS there. I know from personal experience that they are quicker than that, the driver probably wasn't up to it.
