The audio recording in this slideshow is to one of the songs from the show, Broken Biscuit, and was recorded by Paul Spears at PV Studios in Ferntree Gully (http://www.myspace.com/pvsounds) where Donna and The Aspinauts record. It doesn't have vocals to it as it was made to be sung to throughout the UK and Ireland in 2009.
The audio recording features Aspinauts: Paul Spears (drums), Mark Winston (bass and lead guitar), Harry Hormone (acoustic guitar), and Anthony Julian (keyboards). The recording was made for Donna to perform this track throughout the UK and Ireland on her October tour 2009 between Oct 2nd and Oct 17th.
Footsteps of A Nobody is a powerful one woman rock-musical both written and performed by Donna Williams, author of the international best seller, Nobody Nowhere; Autobiography of an Autistic Girl .
Footsteps of a Nobody is a unique opportunity to witness the author herself perform a story that has changed the lives of millions.
Through vibrant song, characterisations, gestural signing, evocative spoken word, and musically supported by the band, The Aspinauts, Donna takes us on a journey from a seemingly deaf, psychotic, 'feral' child to life on the streets and ultimately on to her fight for equality among others.

thanks ytcarol. In the Footsteps of a Nobody show is a song, Too Sensitive, which has a lyric "if your world's become a prison then the person with the key is the one who put you in there, that's the one who'll set you free". We must each set ourselves free and sometimes that is very hard work with many obstacles to navigate on the way.
