You can also get a 2nd bucket instead of the tile and cut out the bottom out of it about 3-4 in high as the insert. Cut several slats in the protruding "tray edge"to fit it if necessary and push it into the bucket, sealing it with some foam and duct tape against the bucket wall. Silicone is even better.

.make little 1/4 inch to 1/2 slot cuts all around the tile circle. it will now fitt in easy. You can also mark the height of the wick container on the outside of the bucket and run a string around it to get the circumference of the tile. Also instead of copper pipe you can put a piece of hose that you secure to the edge of the bucket with a industrial tie or nylon cord. also plastic pipe is fine also the corrugated type they use for protecting electrical leads

Good Idea. I would use non-copper pipe, and Plumber's Goop to seal the seams.
