@akatsukimercenary That's great and all, but I don't really think that's really a -logical- view on life. I've got a friend who's a pagan, and I respect that. Still, Paganism is different from atheism, just like Christianity. Don't get me wrong, I agree, the Bible's a sexist piece of shit which pretty much views women as objects. But still, it's a belief in something you can't really prove, which is my only real problem. And cuz you're kinda making this big statement about it.

Its like this, picture a cone, topped with ice cream, with many flavors. Picture this: when one person licks the cone, its chocolate to them. Then to the next person: it is vanilla to them. Then the next person: it is strawberry to them. That is how it is to religious people, the faith is a separate flavor to them, a flavor they conceive to be true to the statement of the faith they live in. The same is to Jews, Muslims, and other monotheistic-faithful people.

It is true, much of the original statement of Christianity is lost, tainted by the many groups that assert themselves the true keepers of the original statement of the faith. Yet the faith they preach is not faith, but a synthetic version of the faith, faith according to one groups' assertion of the statement. This is the reason why the groups disagree on statement alone, saying the other group is wrong on the statement of the faith. Continued ...

In Paganism, we worship the female essense and consider it equal to the male essence. Dualistic philosophy, you know. The Bible is a bad idea in raising girls in general. Since much of the Hebrew-Christian-Islamic religious jargon, is male dominated and favors the male opinion over the opinion of the female. In those male-god exclusive religions, the feminine aspect is considered demonic and scandalous, similar to Lilith and the Whore of Babylon. In Paganism, it favors both equal mindsets.

@ScholarVisual Talking about guns :P. TedxAmsterdam just released a new talk on the TedTalksDirector channel, it was worth the watch for me. Basically all I am saying is, that the bible has merits as a piece of history, and not the current use(and misuse) it has in the bible-belt. Indoctrinating people, cutting people body parts off and alienating families and family members just cause they do not believe in some ancient text. It has no use in the modern world as such anymore.
