  • @guitartec i bought a taylor 114 and so happy with it, compared to the martin which the neck felt abit too round. let u know about the G and B strings

  • Seems like all the Taylors that come to my repair shop usually have intonation issues with the G or B strings. The only exceptions are with the inexpensive models. Relatively few of those are bad.

Even my DN4, which I sold, had a REALLY flat G string when using normal sets of 12-53s. I compensated the saddle forward under the G as much as possible until it only sucked a little. I even tried smaller diameter G strings... No luck. I gave up on Taylors, and so did my customers.

  • @Songwriter4God Yep, fair point. It is HIS guitar.

  • @johnmacward For the purpose of teaching! And HE MADE IT!

  • @skanerost He's hurting that poor guitar and all it ever wanted to do was play beautiful music!

  • @johnmacward

Why is Bob Taylor a bastard ? I would say he teach all unknowing "bastards" how to take care of their guitars!

  • I can't help but say "You're a bastard, LEAVE THAT GUITAR ALONE!"
