  • grande macacao falou. ugh!

  • Thank you for your reply. I do agree with you in general terms, however I do not know the daily life of Angola or Eduardo dos Santos family history enough to agree or disagreed with your criticism. Regarding Portugal, yes, it's a democracy today, but let us not forget it took Portugal centuries to get where it is today. Angola is a young state coming from a civil war she has not recovered from yet. I lived in the Fascist Portugal, it was not much more than a Banana Republic with with colonies.

  • You are just proving my point. Portugal is in fact a country consumed in corruption and the fact that we are selling estates, companies and football clubs (Benfica...) to a crime lord like Eduardo dos Santos does not improve our image. Do you really think that the Portuguese people will benefit from dos Santos investments? Only a handful of businessmen will. But corrupted as Portugal may be, it is still a democracy not a Banana Republic like Angola, where you need "gasosa" to get things done.

  • Corruption exists everywhere, also in this great country where we live, 1% to 3% of the population controls 90% of the nations wealth. Corruption is wide spread in Portugal, known as one of the most corrupt member of the EU. Don't forget some Portuguese benefits from dos Santos family wealth. Sure Angola should fight against it, just like every other nation.
