  • when i was in 11th grade i used to wake up every morning 10 minutes early so I could start my day with Radio Cure. Best grades I ever made in my life, too.

  • It took about 5 listens to Radio Cure before I realized it's brilliance. You need patience for this one, but as the track builds the ears are warmly rewarded

  • Check out Mayo Thompson's "Corky's Debt to His Father" from '69. Do it now; you won't be sorry.

  • Thanks for posting the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot series, Shotgunnova!

  • @mimipuppy123 started when i was older but yeah its been a father son thing for me and my dad to

  • @sellout87 I was about 15 or so in the 10th grade, back in 2003.

This is one album that i used to love back then that still gets put on rotation 8 years later. Hard to believe it's been that long already.

  • @KimCheongBRO whats 10th grade or rather how old are you in it? the irish school system is a little bit different.either way, this is an amazing album. i got into wilco 2 or 3 years ago when my friend lent me sky blue sky. i always considered that my ultimate wilco album but this one definitely is a grower

  • @mimipuppy123 that doesn't really challenge the "dad-rock" notion. haha, it's still pretty great.

  • I grew up with this band.My dad used to play it when I was in preschool. We still play it and we buy a cd whenever it comes out.

  • I share much the same sentiment as a few of you here. I remember when this album was new back when i was in about 10th grade, and i used to just give it a casual listen now and then, basking in the meloncholy tones indulging in my adolescent angst. But it wasn't until the past year when a friend of mine pulled it off the shelf and put it on while we were drinking that i realized its true greatness. I hear it now with new ears, having experianced more, realizing its honesty and beauty.

  • Just getting into some Wilco...late bloomer. Great Stuff Here. Thanks for Posting it.
