@ilianaaubert Yes you can wash it and in fact it's easy to clean. It's not dishwasher save thought. I have it for a year right now and don't had any problems so far.

The Milk frother is so outdated, get the Milk Café by Breville, it uses induction technology to heat milk faster and looks so much more better than that hideous milk frother.

@let0me I just tested with my thermometer and it's 153F (67.2C).150-160F temperature range is recommended for milk frothing. Hope this help.

Thanks Brian~ you've helped me make my mind up! Was going to buy a Gaggia which is a beautiful model but tbh the time it takes to grind the beans,measure,steam nozzle the milk & try to get it frothy, then cleaning it- phew.....makes me tired just thinking about it.Amazon gave the Citiz 5/5 but consumers were saying to buy the stand alone frother rather than the one attached to the coffee machine as some have had problems with it,so I'll be purchasing the milk frother separately.
