@Ionized226 because most American girls were introduced to Mr. Laurie by House (obviously) and don't know his previous work...aussie soaps, blackadder, or My fave, the irrepressible Bertie Wooster...but just fyi- he's friggin HOT.

I never knew about House until I was was watching Jeeves and Wooster and my sister saw him and said, "OMG, it's House!" I said, "Who? That's Hugh Laurie, a British comedian." She didn't believe me. :/

Hugh Laure is talented but he is only part of the team of this awesome show. people seem to forget that he was not a cast member until Blackadder 3 the first 2 of the series were justr as funny if not more so.
