This is really cool man! I've never heard this before, and it rules! This series is one of the few I own zero music from, unfortunately. I hope to change that soon, but thanks very much for posting this.

The beginning kinda sounds like the start to P3 FES' version of Mass destruction.

Like I've mentioned before in the #10 video, Meguro has an array of styles that really goes against the norm. With Digital Devil Saga we get the gritty stuff, and with Devil Summoner, we get Jazz, which again, isn't a style most mainstream composers make such use of. While I do prefer his hard rock style most of all, hot damn is this song good. In the 1st (3rd) game, the town theme lacked a certain spark, but this arrangement for the sequel, man is it full of energy.

The powerful jazz style does a great job portrayed the lively hustle and bustle of 1920s Japan (or whichever era it took place in precisely.) It most certainly has suave and class to boot, which works with the "old school" style of this series.
