or turn up your release to 100%, then you can have envelope enabled still, and set attack up by a few milliseconds so that no glitch sounds come thru if the chops were off.

@DAWOODBOYZ407 vst is usually better for mac users, in general, if you have a vst option, go with that

ok so im beating my head against the wall trying to grasp the idea of what exactly kontakt does..
1. lets say i purchase komplete 8. would i use the "kontakt player" as you are right here to hear everything??
2. If i spent all the money on the stuff would it all be completely useless if i didnt have a DAW on the same computer?

@1Stretta1beats1 kontakt player is the free version of kontakt, kontakt plays back sample based instruments. Not everything in Komplete runs through kontakt, there are other instruments and synths in it. Yes you need a DAW to make use of komplete. Unless you are just playing out live and don't plan on recording any of your music.
