I've been trying to get my ArcadeVGA card hooked up to my Wells Gardner 7191 25" arcade monitor, but it is having many issues, not the least of which is a constant scrolling image that just won't lock.

Is it a problem with the video cable or something like that?

Can anyone please help me out to get this fixed please?

  • Just for anyone who watches this video from now on, and perhaps has the same problem, the issue I was having was caused by having a defective VGA breakout cable.

After replacing it everything syncs fine on the monitor now.

I'm leaving this up, though, in case anyone else ever has the same issue.

  • I have an ArcadeVGA card from Ultimarc.com but when i want to install the drivers from cd or online for Windows Xp my pc keeps shutting down the setup. I see the setup window on the task bar but it immediately disappears ? Can anyone please help ?

  • Did you ever figure out what was causing the screen to scroll and were you able to fix it?

  • I have the same problem. I use a hack for my radeon card and then plugged into a J-PAC card. But when I turn on the PC & Monitor I get the same result as in the video. Anyone has an idea?

  • You must find the v-frequency potentiometer and adjust it.
