US senator John McCain today ended a three-day visit to Burma during which he met with regime officials and his self-confessed "inspiration" Aung San Suu Kyi. Upon leaving he had strong words for the new government, who he claims lack the democratic credentials that would trigger a major shift in US policy to Burma.
