@Lean540 Ok dipstick, look. If you don't know how to find declination with ONLY a compass, then just say so. Don't repeat the obvious video instruction. Think outside the box... if you can. If not, go away.

@1Joyeux Um, ........the video is attempting to teach you how to use a compass to navigate with a map, as stated. If you don't have a map you use landmarks that you may be familiar with, it is quite simple, North South East West, pick a direction and walk. Much better to have a map though, don't ya think?

the suggestion for internet access is so irrational. How in the world would i get internet access or roaming in the middle of the wilderness?, service providers don't go that far, and trust me, if we had internet access everywhere, I would not use a compass, ill rather stick with GPS :)
