let's not try to pretend seuss wasn't political in the vast majority of his work. there was even a documentary made about it calle" the political dr. seuss.

Yikes. Just when I thought the story could not get any more bleak you come along, read it like Wayne June reciting Lovecraft, add ominous music, and give Once-ler the monstrous voice he deserves. Thank you for putting this together this most welcomed treat. Especially since that sickeningly sweet CGI film adaptation is looming over the horizon.

The site is "incompetech" (.com) there should be a button that says "Royalty Free Music" .>>The main tracks I used were "Arcadia", "Mind Scrape", "Pale Rider", "Private Reflection", "Rites", and "The North." All you have to do is click the download button and you will receive the songs in Mp3 format, sutable to use in most movie making programs or just to put on your iPod and listen to!
