My Dad's 1960 Onan Generator. Powered by Waukeshaw 6 cylinder. Model # 6WAK It Generates 170,000 watts at the operating 1800 rpms. It Powered The WITN Transmitter here in North Carolina. It has a displacment of 1197 c.i.d. 6-1/4'' Bore and 6-1/2'' Stroke. It Runs off Gasoline but can run on LP or Natural gas. Under A Full Load It burns 500 Gallons of Gas in 24 hours. In 1960 It cost 12,500 dollars

  • I just aquired a very similar unit. Wakesha onan but diesel and 480 volt. It is a 60kw circa 1970. I want to put it on a trailer like yours
