Cleaned 54 Crappie

Been catching a lot crappie - using jigs and squirming grubs - but catch a couple small ones that we throw back before we get keepers (which are either thick 9" crappie or 10" and above) e.g. we keep some 9" crappie if they are thick and will make a nice fillet.

This video is for 2.5 days of fishing and we managed to find 54 keepers (actually had 52 keepers when started cleaning fish but I got two more keepers while Chuck was cleaning them. (these crappie are for his next weekend fish fry - so he had to clean them alone e.g. I hate to clean crappie

Chuck fished a little more than I did so I estimate that 30 of the keepers were his and 20 were mine but I probably got more little 'throw backs' than he did so I'm going to claim I caught more fish than him. (we both threw back more than we kept but the little ones seemed to like me better :) BTW: The video said 25 and15 cause I wasn't thinking of ones we had in another fish pen

Because I'm a mean old man that hates to clean fish (and I'm lazy - and don't even cook them) :)

Besides there is a good fish fry cook at the local grocery store that I visit ever Friday i.e. I'm not completely lazy on Friday - I go to the store and buy a fish dinner :) :)
