Sorry mate, but you simply must show us how to do this! I've scoured the internet trying to get System Shock 2 working! Please help us...*many* of us want to play this gem again!

Didn't this game inspire BioShock?

@Leartoon Thanks for the cool site. I am still hoping that Beth lets Carmack fulfill his promise of GPL id tech 4 once RAGE is released...

Can you explain how you got it to work in Ubuntu? My friend's been trying to get it to work for quite some time. Thanks.

Just as a note to your video description: Doom 3 binary is available natively to Linux from id, as is Quake 4. Source to id tech 3 engine is publicly available and there are builds for MOHAA, Q3 and Enemy Territory. UT & UT2k3 is released for Linux.
These run better than something, that is "not an emulator", so your description is a bit misleading.

@DAudIcI Yeah, ID was cool before joining Bethesda in a conquest to ruin PC games... :) There's more and more games that run native on GNU/Linux... and that description is old as ancient Greece. Check this out: lin-app.com/category/games (type h-t-t-p and so on, in front)
