But if we just suppose that Iran would decide to throw her missiles towards Europe or any other troops in the region then these patriot missiles wouldn't be able to stop the Iranian missiles because the newest Iranian missiles like Sejil go first vertically to the space and then come back vertically with very high speed towards the aim. It would be no chance for Patriot missiles to stop them. Thus Turkey you are cheated and rubbed.

Obviously Iran won't attack Turkey, Turkey doesn't need the missile shield, so Turkey will not pay it. Furthermore, Turkey simply doesn't have money to pay it.

Turkey just let the missile shield installed inside Turkey to protect someone else. Turkey is willing to do ANYTHING to join EU and to become part of "Europeans". What a shame!

Nato Radar Base is a payback for releasig terrorist chief Karayılan and nothing more. We don't want anything from a third world country like Iran where people are gettig killed just for protesting.

Israel and Iran can't pick on the Arabs anymore. Turkey could lose it's relations with an isolated country in Iran and help build much stronger ones with open countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, the EU, a possible new Egypt, Syria, Tunisia and Libya that look to us as a role model of sorts, not IRAN.

Turkey's economy's growing at a good pace compared to its European counterparts and also has the money to pay for the missile shield. PressTV is an Iranian news agency that is totally government controlled. You can tell by how the station covers issues in the region. Turkey specifically wants the missile shield to shut Israel, Iran up. Btw most Turkish people and politicians don't want the EU anymore.
