Singer/songwriter James Taylor talks at length with BBC's Tom Brook about John Lennon's legacy and influence. He also recalls his own frightening encounter with Lennon's killer, Mark David Chapman. For more Lennon tributes and videos, go to http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia.
James is one of the less articulated persons I've heard, but still charming and very likable guy. Very important first hand memories of John's.

His getting details wrong about the past just proves again what they say - "if you can remember the 60's, you weren't there".

"I thought of them as a unit, sort of..."

If I'm not mistaken, Taylor has always said that he prefers Macca. I find that mildly disappointing.

I beg your pardon James but little piggies should be attributed to George Harrison as he was the one who wrote performed "Piggies" in the White Album.
