@ultimatetalesfan19 Have you ever been to Africa? The way African economies are set up is very difficult for materialism to survive for that long. We do have materialism but on a very low rate that it's unrecognizable. So materialism will never survive in Africa at least the leaders will never let it survive. The western culture is so sick to the extent that you almost feel like committing suicide, I lived in New York before and the only thing people are after is money, they eat while walking.
@avidalocanThe whole argument behind this is that the white population is reducing rapidly, they can't say it publicly coz it will sound racist. But to tell me that the world population is reducing is simply not true coz people in third world countries breed like rabbits and ur actually right about that. But white people aren't having enough babies.

@ultimatetalesfan19 Largely, it would be the overwhelming preponderance of the Baby Boomer generation, who hit their strides in the 1990s economically and consolidated it over the 2000s, that was responsible for the reduction in number of children by 1990. Simply put, there was just too many people by then. Prior to that, essential things like jobs, housing, health service etc were easier to come by. As the domination of the boomers became stronger, larger families were too hard to maintain.
@ultimatetalesfan19 Are you aware that in developing countries, the percentage of people who are children (under 15) in their population is usually around 50%? So of those billions of millions of people in Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and India, more than 50% of them will still be of breeding age 20 years or more from now, which coincides perfectly with the final demise of the 1 billion boomers.
@ultimatetalesfan19 Why should an abnormally large "growth spurt" in population lead to unrecoverably low population levels for generations after? Surely there's been periods of relatively good economic conditions, perhaps even great conditions, for their times that led to equally relatively large population explosions in the span of one generation, at points throughout history. If so, why didn't that lead to our decimation and eventual extinction? It must be because it is recoverable over time.
you act like having social security, medicare and medicaid for decades, has helped with their efficiency on a economic level.
It hasn't, it is actually worse and going down to nothing(people like myself will not get social security, it will be dead long before I retire, and social security was actually our best socialized program)
If anything we will have a harder time as old people are swindled out of their money by professional crooks.
@110301839
that is what a lot of Asian countries thought...
China will create materialism in Africa all by itself.
