@cutebuttt That's not how it works. If I claim there is small english tea pot orbiting the sun just beyond mars, its not your responsibility to prove it doesn't exist. Rather it's up to me give evidence that it does. There are an endless number of unsupported assertions that can be made. Not all asserts are equal. That which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

@cutebuttt You should rephrase your sentence, methinks. He can be absolutely sure that he can deny it based on the evidence that he does not believe in it. On the other hand, he might have trouble DISPROVING the Holy Spirit as there's really not much of a way to prove a fantasy...

Hmm, on what evidential basis can you absolutely be sure that you can deny the Holy Spirit, particularly as it is so difficult to know exactly what that is (btw, not sure Jake Thackray would deny the Holy Spirit, ... )
