I wouldn't call this place a city. You could pretty much walk downtown on foot in 15mins. I'd say Greenville is a township. Until city hall decides to ramp up the weak transportation system and allow people outside of downtown easier access and make the airport bigger to invite more businesses and people, Greenville is gonna stay behind. Charlotte, NC knows what they are doing. Now THAT'S a city!

yeah haha the music is a misconception buti live in greenville n it is great the downtown has been re-done and some parts r still being contructed on gang activity is almost 0% and violence levels well as far as downtown u cud let ur kids run off n be comfortable

Not that many people here listen to bluegrass... Greenville's very fun. There's a ton to do. People that say otherwise evidentally don't get out. Downtown Greenville is alright sometimes but it isn't all that and a bag of chips.
