i have a lazy eye, I often get people standing next to the person im looking at asking if im talking to them... If I get high or have a few drinks my "bad" eye just drifts off into its own little world. Ive been totally blind in that eye since birth. I sadly have to admit its prob the thing that hurts my ego the most. I cant even begin to imagine the person id be today if my eye was fine. which is the saddest part because im almost 30 and smart enough to know nothing is wrong with me.

because of my lazy eye, I'm often denied drinks at the pub, way before I'm actually intoxicated in any way...it's quite annoying being "discriminated" like that because of my looks.

I have a lazy eye too, but I can't see out of that eye anyway so it doesn't matter. I've been made fun of a little bit, but it doesn't bother me. It's only people I don't know and, therefore, don't care about, so it's fine. But, the weird thing is, when I close the other eye, it goes back to normal. Wtf is up with that?

Aside from the vision problems experienced, there's also the insult's, eg: boss-eyed bog-eyes and so forth, speaking from experience, it can and does have a profundly negative pyschological effect, from childhood onwards

i;m 22 and have a lazy eye. Its shit to wear your glasses when your young, and i didnt especially in high school, but people still noticed. So at my age now, because i neglected my eye care, when i go to the pub and have a few drinks it becomes even more noticable. Wearing glasses young will pay off
And for those that are in school and getting bullied, the end of school will come and thats the light at the end of the tunnel, because outside the world of play grounds there are many good people.
