The International diesel and turbo diesel offered in 1980 was too wide so International used a Nissan Diesel. The turbo diesel was only offered in 1980 as a last ditch effort to keep The Scout II alive. Nissan 6-33T turbo diesel six-cylinder turbo diesel Displacement: 198 cubic inches or 3.2L Horsepower: 101 hp at 3,800 rpm Torque: 178 lb-ft at 2,200 rpm Turbo: AiResearch TO-3
Some scouts could be had stock with a diesel, but not a 6bt cummins. The diesel used in scouts was a small (and pretty weak) Nissan diesel. These werent powerhouse motors and only made a shade over 100 horse stock. But got great mileage (i've head 20city 30 highway but that seems a little optomistic) So this 6bt is definatly a swap! and an awesome one at that

Thanks again!
