Epic, Elric of Melniboné-themed US Power Metal (or as they put it "Chapion Metal") from the 90s.

With help I've now completed writing down the song's lyrics. I'm just a little bit unsure about a line or two so if you have any corrections please leave a comment.

Ahh thanks again for your help. The third verse makes a lot more sense now! :D I'm also starting to concur on "break chains that bind me" and the lyrics are nearly complete. I'm just not sure about the first line in verse three. I don't know if it's just me but it sounds kinda off.

Fourth one is pretty clear now that you said it but I am still not sure about the third one. All I hear is "break ..... that bind me". It would make sense though. Thanks!

Third line of the chorus sounds like "break the chains that bind me," and the fourth sounds like "leave you behind me."
