Master Clark has passion and I respect that. He is in love with chinese culture with regard to martial arts. It seems that his students or listeners do not fight the way they shadowbox or use form. My book discusses this as well as some of my articles. I am not chinese nor do I fight like one or like most asian fighting systems. However, my expression of traditional asian form and method is western and I fight like a western martial artist possessing such knowledge as do most westerners.

"The last person.."? What about Jet Li? Jackie Chan? Kung Le? Shi Yan Ming? Liu Qing Hua? Ray Park? Donnie Yuen? I find this mans speech to be just a bit hyperbolous, both in its sentiment on nationality of this art versus that art, and on his "strong" words.... Such a person claiming to be a "Master" shouldn't posture so brashly.

Nice speech. That said, I respectfully disagree on the Bruce Lee statement. There are lots of masters doing something for Chinese Kung Fu. Of course they don't have the fame, or the reach that Bruce Lee had, but that doesn't mean that they're doing nothing.
