Yeah, but Title 42, Chapter 21, so-called "civil rights" act also says that U.S. Citizens will be subject to punishment, pains, penalties, taxes, licenses, and exactions of every kind; the whole affair was a trick to get people to trade unalienable rights for privileges. Unfortunately, we've been cooperating with the deception voluntarily ever since. The concern w/ illegal immigration is legit, but disproportionate. Certainly, the advocacy for scrapping the 14th Amendment outright is misguided - the harm this would cause ECLIPSES the good.
Americans concerned about attacks on their sovereignty, the devaluation of labor, and the inability to pay for social-infrastructure investment would be BETTER served looking elsewhere - there are WAY bigger fish to fry on those counts.

We the People are the unorganized militia from which the organized militia is formed, but together we are the well regulated militia, under the laws and regulations of the state and union.

The constitution protects the people and is a check on DC. Not the other way around the states created DC. If you don't believe or know this then you have a lot to learn. Amendment 2 with the whole Bill of rights applies only to the states. We are not slaves to human masters in washington. We have our rights and we stand by them. The states and DC are two separate entities. One foreign (dc) one domestic (states) only 18 powers are delegated to DC. This is how free societies function.
There you have it, the ONLY way to protect ourselves from slavery is with the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS.
When the blacks had guns, they could no longer be enslaved.
This fight to end slavery helped protect ALL of us. We should not so easily part with these hard-won rights.

I don't blame laywers for repeating what they've been taught. I blame the fraudualent education they receive since FDR's so called New Deal. Regardless whether United States v. Miller, 307 U.S. 174, 179 (1939)says that the Bill of Rights is no restriction upon the States, the 2nd Amendment is a right reserved to The People and not to States. Moreover, A.6, C.2 declares the U.S. Constitution including the 2nd Amendment to be supreme over any State firearm regulation or prohibition.
