@eldiran2 I disagree with you. I don't think this film is "terribly tacky". It has cinematography by the great Robert Surtees and is actually a very beautiful film. This clip however is running at a faster speed than normal.

@wickedfeylady Absolutely! Just re-watching all these clips from the film, I wonder if it had a better Director, it all might have actually worked. As it is, it is a terribly tacky, badly made film with a great concept (and clever songs by Bacharach and David). What a waste of an Opportunity!

This was an excellent movie when musicals were on the way out and critics hated them. The movie was much better than anyone thought at the time. I would like to see them make a movie this good today. Who would sing the songs?? LADY GA GA??

The movie is nuts, but the actors had guts. Music sometimes very good though.
