The second trailer for one of the best animated movies ever made.

Nominated for Best animated Picture at the 80th Academy awards but lost against Ratatouille =(

But with or without an Oscar, Persepolis is already a winner. Becasue it did what is unthinkable in western animation: an intelligent, fun, charming animated movie for adults that makes you think, cry and yet feel good. It touches polemic subjects (how religions and politcis destroy the lives of innocent people) without losing it sense of humor and it's smart dialogues.

there re english subs up, and its that way in the first place. besides your comment was REALLY offensive. so iranians don't "know" democracy, and need to go to europe to "learn" it? Iranians have DIED for democracy. again if you WACTCHED the movie, you would know this

Anyone actually saw this movie? the title's trailer say it all...this is a hollywood version of a film that is way long to hollywood and the popcorn empty cinema, check out other trailers and you'll see!!!

Persia is the greek/latin name. They call them selves Iran/Airan/Aryan.

It's like calling Italy Da Qin. It's the foreign name for it.
