I feel Like this Machine is a great idea becuase it takes plastics and cans at the same time But i feel that It is a slow crushing process The T-53 Is Pretty fast I also like the door design thats pretty cool
This is Envipco's new machine that would compete with the UNO, but Tomra's 10 year old Duo machine still has a faster throughput rate. I like this new machine, but the technology behind it is a bit outdated. I think that Envipco has great potential, but needs a fast, efficient, and high-tech machine to be more successful.
The Envipco in Farmingville that I filmed today is much louder than this one and was making a horrible grinding sound. I had 5 dollars worth of cans, but cut the video short so it would not exceed 5 minutes by too much.
I wonder if it has the omni-directional scanner so it can scan the poland springs with horizontal barcodes...If not, they may need to be fed in sideways.
@Ih8escalators I DO read the website, and TOMRA's as well. I am well aware that the multi machine can come in those configurations. However, the one with the door is probably the crush version, I'm only guessing that because I don't know why else it would have a door. Plus, that motor sound is sounds very similar to a metal ram coming down to crush the cans just like on a trash compactor.
@Ih8escalators What I was trying to say is that there both multi can models, however the multi can models do come in different configurations. The one on the left is the model that takes all 3 types of bottles obviously. The other confuguration of the multi model is the plastic & cans only, which the one on the right is. BUT the plastic and can one may crush versus shred, explaining the door. And the one on the right is newer, no machine from 12-15 years ago would have an LCD screen.
that door is a safety feature. crushing sounds thorough. a larger load could be split between two machines. part of my job is emptying such machines.

That CF-1500 has a different printer than I'm used to.
