  • @pi550, troll.

  • @jtking2504

What a weak society we live in that worries so much about things that do not actually impact on our daily lives EXCEPT our own self-importance. All these people who talk about HUMANE practices and yet probably purchase so many goods manufactured in China and other countries paying unacceptable wages to their workers and where human life is worth nothing!!

  • @pi550, oh I see, if you feed them you have the right to torture them. OK then.

  • @310sucks You are a liar!! Farmers have had to change and without them Australia is in serious trouble. Keating sold the family farm a long time ago. It a country cannot feed themselves than the country cannot survive. It is none of your business how a farmer makes his money in the remote northern part of Australia. He does NOT tell you how to live.

  • pi550, sounds to me you only mix with the sort of people who have never considered ethics, only greed and a way of life that is unacceptable to most Australians.

The Four Corners story made something like 400 headline stories for months. Politicians phones and emails ran hot unprecedented to any other issue, so much so that the trade was banned. The story won the Gold Walkely Award. and you think 1% managed all this?

Aussies are sickened by the live trade- 85% fig. from a poll.

  • @pi550 Nice try - Bullets are cheap as chips. Sorry you can kiss any more muslim arse.

  • @310sucks Well perhaps you could put your money where your mouth is and start buying bullets for the farmers. Word is that they are about to start shooting but the bullet is just another expense they have to cough up in this great Labor/Green country that once was so great!!!

  • @jtking2504 Why are you calling them"our cattle". They are not yours. You did not pay for them. You did not feed them These cattle are NOT your concern. Why don't you look after your own part of the world!!!

  • @sudanesecat Where do you get the figure of 85% of australians want these exports to stop!!! This is a lie! Maybe 1% or even 2% but no more. You need to mix with more people. Thanks Labor for taking MORE Australian jobs... you are such a great govt!!

  • If the chilled meat trade is expanded and there is a transition time for this trade, then the farmers can sell to Oz abattoirs in the top end.

Farmers do not care to whom they sell their cattle or sheep, they just want to make a living.

The answer to this problem lies with the Labor government and the decisions it will make.

Remember 86% of Australians want the live export of animals to stop.

A sudden ban is devastating, a transition to chilled meat trade will be better for Oz jobs.
