At a November 1, 2007, campaign stop on the campus of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, former Massachusetts Governor and Republican Presidential candidate recently answered the following question from a Luther College student about sex education:

"My question is sort of related to the abortion issue, but I guess I'm wondering how you feel about sex education in middle schools and high schools and how you feel about abstinence only or a broader perspective on sex education."

(I apologize for the poor video quality and lack of a clear vantage point in the video)

  • sex ed should be a dialogue going on from a very young age. It should not be an ongoing dialogue in my opinion.

When little kids masturbate, they're curious and we should feel weird to talk about that kinda stuff - thats sex ed to me.
