United let them play like that, I've never seen United play with the tactics they played in the CL final. They never played down the center which is very strange for United when they've got quality midfielders like Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Hargreaves etc. If United's midfielders would've been more involved in the final, United could've been like 4-0 in the first 30 minutes. Cause they started off like that but changed completely when the goal came.
