"I saved you," cried the woman
"And you've bit me, but why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I'm gonna die"
"Oh shut up, you silly woman," said the reptile with a grin
"You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in

This is the best clip of a tv show I have ever seen, so much double meaning for the characters! I absolutely LOVED Northern Exposure the first time, wish I could see it all again, not just clips!! Such incredibly unique characters in a beautiful, sometimes foreign setting Alaska! Living almost the way the pioneers lived with some of the modern conveniences. Truly great tv show with very human characters in a unique setting, WOW!!

I was expecting my second baby during Shelly's pregnancy....gosh, I loved that show. I never watch TV, but that show was intelligent, interesting, and original. Oh, the last couple of seasons it was clear that the lead actor had lost his interest in the show, and everybody else was tired of dealing with him...but anyway. Wish I had the series on DVD. I have old videotapes that have lost too much quality.
