using a new prop 8x6 seemed to take more battery than the smaller one. Temp was at 30 degrees winds fair to calm first time flying with snow on the ground key cam lacks auto white balance. trying to land the battery must have decided to give up had to land behind a building broke the motor mount but have a bunch more of the stick mounts. was fun but short. Winter must drain batteries faster and the prop size took more power possibly. Oh well Beer 30 and I needed to fly !!!!

  • I was in San Diego for a summer and did not want t o come back to this area but finances really sucked! I have never been there for winter but I bet only rain could get addictive for winter! The cam was doing that due to me not mounting it tight enough. I still have the para-copter and have been toying with some reinforcement ideas for the sail openings but ten winter depression hits as snow needs moved etc....

  • I like those small video cams. Thanks for posting this, now I can really appreciate the SOCAL weather. I almost forgot the look of frozen. I still wish you would have had some luck with the Sky Surfer / Kite mod. I recently browsed a site with Vector Thrust kites. Since I fly the beach I have been giving that some consideration. PS I think your cam is shivering. - Jack Z.

  • Nice video, looks very cold up there. Thanks for sharing.
