so i am watching this with a friend and we get to this scene. i am feeling totally overwhelmed with emotion, thinking of my dad whose passed away and marvelling how powerfully this scene captures the same emotions of loss. and then my friend leans over and says, "this movie is really boring". right in the middle of this scene. seriously?

What an incredible scene. This is one of the greatest things about Christopher Nolan, he can take something simple like a man talking to himself and make it incredibly touching.
