  • do you use one dripper per tank or do you halve the supply to 2 tanks, as you have 2 rows of tanks. Also, do you run the drainiage tubes under the tanks at an angle, as your drawn diagram shows, or maybe I'm looking at it wrong. How much did you spend total on it all? (I can figure out euros to dollars)

  • @clothaddict I use one dripper per tank and yes, the drainage tubes are at an angle so that the water flows better and faster - I didn't want the dirty water to stagnate as it would start to smell very bad so I designed the gutter-tubes to be installed at an angle. In total I guess I spent around 600 euros but I haven't tallied up the cost precisely so it might be a little off.

  • It's really nice but I was wondering what wud happen if u turned off the drip system? And do u use any machinery for the drainage system? Plzz rply

  • @360virus If the drip system is turned off (or if there is a powercut) the water in the tubes just drains back into the sump filter, which can handle the excess water without overflowing. The water in the individual tanks remains in place (up to the level where the exit tube is located).

  • when i get older, i will need this video, because then ill have a lot of bettas. very nice guide! :D

  • @lucpul thanks and good luck with your future system! :)

  • nice for housing multiple bettas and also breeding them

  • @Threlaeburgh it depends. IF you have a tap / switch to modify the flow-rate, otherwise how will the water level stay in the tanks? And if you only allow water to flow out when you open up the switch, then the tanks will overflow. I put my exit holes on the side, as that is the level I want the water to remain at (within the tanks). I'm sure it would be possible (somehow) to design a bottom-exiting system but it might be much more complicated.

  • I'm using this system, Few mods, but can I use drippers out the bottom? because I'm making 60 clear ones.

  • @saphira5000 I got the netting at my local hardware store. It's the kind used on windows and screen-doors (like anti-bug / mosquito mesh).
