I'm no fan of politics, but neither am I a fan of crackpot conspiracy theories like "The New World Order". People who spout that BS sound incredibly paranoid.

The fact of the matter is there's no secret conspiracy, but that's not to say things are heading in a healthy direction. The rich are getting richer. The poor are getting poorer. Those seeking power tell the public what they want to hear. Those in power do what the hell they like, regardless of the public.

The problem with the world 'uniting' is that it takes democracy further and further away from ordinary people, and given what our governments do (and doesnt get reported) that is a very very bad thing. A global hegemony would be a global totalitarian regime impervious to to protest or revolt of ordinary people. Search YouTube for 'noam chomsky new world order' and you will get the general idea.

The BNP is the only actual party that doesn't act.

When they don't act the way they are supposed to, people go up to them and beat them up or throw eggs in their faces. It's the only party that addresses problems, and finds solutions for them. They are the only real green party. They are the only real anti-terrorist party.

@truthoutmedia There are Secret Societies, and have been since ancient times. There is no doubt that there is a hidden hand in the direction of social, economic, and political change. Ideas perpetuate themselves once they are attached in the belief systems of the mind/the ego. It's nothing to do with teenage fantasies that this Zeppelin character is on about.

Ah, but that is where we disagree. There is no doubt in my mind (and that may be the key 'in my mind') that there are secret societies operating in the world. Some great leaders have said as much.

Well the video's quite misleading then; "on one level we are all actors" is not a novel idea. Thinkers of all sorts have pondered these type of statements which have a common underlying question: "What is the meaning of life?".

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players..." (Shakespeare).

We may all be "actors on a stage", but the opinion that some of us work for a secret organisation which controls the world is flawed in terms of simple logic.
