  • I still have this CD, and I tripped on acid listening to it by myself! Listening to it again can almost give me flashbacks, especially the part from 5:00 on. Space music is awesome to trip to! I loved to experiment with it.

  • this has been one of my favorite pieces for years and years. It may be one of the most beautiful pieces ever composed.

    Is there a part 2?

  • HE WHO BINDS HIMSELF TO A JOY

    DOES THE WINGED LIFE DESTROY;

    HE WHO KISSES THE JOY AS IT FLIES

    LIVES IN ETERNITY"S SUN RISE

  • I have this CD. There are a bazillion little nuances in this piece and every time I listen to it I hear something new. Like the passage from 1:50 - 1:54 that's sustained just a little longer than most composers would have done. Then there's the exquisite subtlety of the woodwind passages; enough to make your knees weak.

    Thanks to your efforts 15,160 people are now familiar with Constance Demby.

    Back to my Korg X50 so I can feel inadequate.

  • Beautiful. I understand that most of this was performed on an (8 bit!) Emulator II. Does anyone know where she got the samples from? Are they mostly stock factory patches? Would be so interesting to try to do something like this with MIDI guitar in Kontakt.
