If you are going to show people how to make dreamcatchers, you should teach them the CORRECT information. Dreamcatchers should have a hole in the middle so that the good dreams pass though. The feather is so that the good dreams float down from the dream catcher and land on the dreamer. The bead represents the spider. Informing the public with incorrect information is highly irresponsible, ignorant, and insulting to Native Americans such as myself.
