love this chutney!! used half brown sugar - half granulated. Used a bit of black salt as well and some roasted cumin. i also innovated a bit by adding a few strawberry bits to it.Yummy! Thanks for sharing!

thank you thank you so much for this recipe - i have always wanted to make mango chutney but it never came out right! will try this this week and post my response
can you use mangoes that are yellow inside yet firm (half ripe) and get the same result?

For the best result mangoes should not be ripe.
