Just the first run. Still have the mamba combo toned down from when it was in the losi bugy, timing is at zero, punch control is at 100%,epa at 100% so theres plenty of power and speed still in it on 4s if i unleash the settings. Should be close for a tight track setting.

  • @1521joe The rc8te is doing fine, got a couple turnigy 25c 4s 5000 packs for it before winter and snow hit here. Mostly doing plane stuff now but the cars will get some running before spring to probably.

    hi duck

whts the max Amp charge on this charger, im guessing 5a

    thanks

  • @1521joe The rc8t-e is brushless ready.. mine is the electric version. If you have any concerns about the spur you could always use a metal one.

  • @3DHobbyShopRocks

ok man...so your truggy is a nitro conversion right?

do you think the rc8t"E" is a better all round car purpose built for electric, bearing in mind its a 50t plastic spur

  • @1521joe On the spur replacement yes.. had the same thing happen a few times landing hard off ramps on cement with my brushless buggy but the motor mount screw loosened enough on impact that it completely backed off from the spur. I would buy the rc8t again for sure. It was this or the losi truggy, losi didnt have a brushless version of there truck and the roller would of cost $700.00+ after adding there e conversion kit. The associated was $400.00 with tax out here when i got it.

  • @3DHobbyShopRocks

    thanks for the info man.

    its appreciated

    thanks man

  • @3DHobbyShopRocks

sounds like the only reason it needed replacing was the motor screws loosened up, wrecking the mesh.

could you recommend this truggy, or if you knew then what you know now...would you pick another chassis?

    thanks

  • @1521joe I just replaced the spur a few weeks ago, with proper gear mesh it should last a long time. The reason it finally stripped was from jumping ramps and landing on cement and the motor screws loosened enough for the gear mesh to get to loose. Im still running the truck with the same set up it had in this video as well and it was clocked at 42mph on radar but i could gear it up a little more if i wanted to probably but acceleration and top end is good for the track and plenty for bashing.
