From Zero To Hero: GoW3 - Knowing Your Weapons

New series I am attempting to do. I don't pretend to be an outstanding gears player, I am simply an experienced player and I know how it felt for a newer player to get into the gears franchise and be completely confused and overwhelmed with it.

This part is a very simple outline of the weapons and should hopefully give you more insight into them when picking which weapons to use.

I doubt Epic games exspected the Sawn-off to have this reaction, it's more of a panic weapon or cocky weapon. I stick to my lancer really.

well ok i have started to like the sawed off, ONLY in horde, in horde wen you need to kill something, all u need to do is get as close as possible and shoot, almost everything will die instantly, u can kill locust from a ticker to a grinder, mauler, or boomer, its THAT powerful, and if they have 2x more health, shoot em a little then go for the kill, useful for horde, but i wouldnt recommend it online

it should be noted that the sawed off is extreamly effective for defensive play, try defending a hill with it. let the enemy walk into your spot and turn him into a pile of guts. Also, people tend to come in pairs right next to eachother so its pretty easy to get a double kill with one shot.
