yes and no....you put big lines and big connector tubes on a VP truck it'll make it lope, but you dont have that luxuary on a 12v. in that case it does need a cam to lope, whether its in the injection pump or the motor...

the fuel lines are makin it lope and a cam big stick or bigger helps out on a small lope
