Visitors will soon notice that this island is a safe haven
for them. Wild Chickens, Roosters and families of baby chicks are everywhere
running through backyards, roads, jungles, golf courses and WALMART parking lots.
Come to check out their cocky behavior. Among other beauties from the Garden Island

  • how do they survive? from people feeding them...? I was told that chickens/roosters will starve in the wild?

  • @jephboy lol if only i would chose anywhere to be bumming it ... i would eat so much chicken

  • @danieltuent178

Thanks, but I was talking about human predators. :) We actually were told by the state wildlife folks that there's no restrictions, but they don't "recommend" eating wild foul.

  • @jephboy no they just have no natural predators

  • Are Kaua'i chickens protected?
