  • Yeah "greatly affected us". Let me see you walk into Marin City and help all the poor guys out there. Oh wait that would actually be doing something instead of whining on the sidewalk in downtown San Rafel. These occupy protests need to get real and give back instead of crying like a bunch of babies out on the streets. You've increased money to police and the police presence. Yeah thanks a lot "99%"

  • @touchmadown while your wording was pretty negative, i wholeheartedly agree. but us standing on the street (one day a week) is to bring people to the movement so we HAVE the manpower to feed and shelter people. i mean, thats a huge part of an encampment: to feed and shelter those who have already been displaced by the system. but we can't start an encampment with a steady stream of supplies unless people KNOW we're here. hence the rally on the street. ya dig?

  • Look everyone, its the 1% preaching to the 1%!!!!!

  • @touchmadown Interesting comment... it's important to note that while Marin definitely has a higher average household income than most of the country, unemployment and forclosures still greatly effect us. And what a beautiful thing- to have the 1% support the 99%, right?

  • Honestly, I don't think people standing on main street in San Rafel will bring any attention nor will it correct it's only problems. Marin is staunchly conservative and holds a lot of money to pay attention to any movement like this. I think paying attention to local matters such as crime and poverty within the county will contribue to the greater national picture.

  • Such a nice video. Well done, and welcome to the movement. It is a pleasure to have you, and those lovely and articulate Americans in the video. I just want to give a shout out for the new revolutionary novel, "American Epitaph" by Damien. Keep up the good work and much love! Cheers!
