  • Can I ask if the fierce bit was a joke because I'd say Galaxy, Sovreign and Intrepid classes are stronger than Norway, Steamrunner and Centaur classes!

  • no, they were built for war. the others werent

  • @JerryMaguire1701 The 1701 Enterprise in Star Trek the first three movies was a Constitution II Class. When that ship was destroyed Star Fleet took an Enterprise Class ship (the new fleet of ships built from scratch modeled after the Constitution refit) and renamed it 1701-A. That was in fact well-known canon, until after many years the canon itself eventually contradicted it - as it so often does.

  • Great montage

  • In the pre-federation montage you should include the Phoenix. It started it all.

  • Science vessels are just the classes designed for exploration/long trips, or medical ships (like some of the Daedleus classes were). Intrepid, Nova, Olympia etc.

Science vessels could probably be ruled out for being the fiercest, but if you take into account everything I'd say that actually cruisers not escorts are the most powerful. Escorts are correctly named, they're not designed to be able to take loads of damage, whereas cruisers are. Anyway, nice video.

  • This would of worked better had you done the classes into sections of Cruisers, Escorts and Science vessels (< "[long range] exploration ships"). When you say "Fiercest" it really does depend, Cruisers do more damage over time and so have to last longer, all of the Enterprise's were cruisers, hence why most of them lasted a pretty long time. The Defiant class is an Escort, so it's designed to do a lot of damage quickly while being able to avoid taking too much damage (hence the cloak and speed).

  • Very nice montage. Thank you.

  • Nova class very cool

  • @GrrFunguschops What about the Prometheus class? I'd take one of those into battle over the Defiant any day!

  • @specom "If they stopped calling it that so be it," Here is the thing. THEY NEVER CALLED IT THAT. It has always been a Constitution REFIT class. All The proof you need is in Star Trek VI where there is a scene where Scotty is looking over a layout of the Enterprise-A, and the title shows it as a Constitution Class Starship. The Idea of an "Enterprise" class was just that, AN IDEA. It NEVER saw fruition.

  • @DangerDave17 I guess all the people talking bout the Enterprise class all had a common hallucination? The first refit for the first movie was a major alteration. NEW ships built to this standard were classified as Enterprise class ships. The secondary hull is larger than the one on the ship used in TOS. Sorry you don't seem to get it that the powers that be trip over their own balls all the time and do shit like this. If they stopped calling it that so be it, ditto for the Alaska class.

  • @superjump01 Saying something in a stern emphatic tone doesn't make it so. I guess all the people talking bout the Enterprise class all had a common hallucination?
