ok, just for the record..speedlight flashes are made by nikon..canon flashes are named speedlite..

Flash is at full power, and the bouncer's function should be rather apparent from its shape. It directs stray light from the flash onto the subject.

Also you can use Auto Focus, if you use a flashlight to shine on the car to allow the AF system to lock, then turn off the light,.
