The Silver Island Bunker Trail is a locative Media project documented in Portuguese, Español, English, Deutsch: silverisland.paintersflat.net

Paintersflat.net used a "virtual hiker" (a generative locative media computer algorithm) to identify a hiking path between two abandoned World War Two era bunkers.

This locative media land art, environmental art, and new media walking art project was part of the FILE 2007 MEDIA ART exhibition in São Paulo, Brazil and the trail sign is one of the locative media projects installed permanently at the CLUI (www.clui.org) Wendover exhibit hall and education center in Wendover Utah, USA. The public is free to enjoy this public trail as locative media walking art.
